What is the Scrum Product Owner Professional Certification?
The Scrum Product Owner Professional Certification (SPOPC®) is a CertiProf credential that validates your knowledge of the Product Owner role in Scrum: how to manage the Product Backlog, maximize the value of the product and guide the work of the Scrum Team, based on the 2020 Scrum Guide. It costs USD 150, includes two exam attempts and stays valid for three years.
The exam is a multiple-choice online test you can take from your own computer, anywhere in the world, without scheduling. You pass with 32 correct answers out of 40 (80%). There are no formal prerequisites.
CertiProf has adopted the Scrum Guide, the definitive guide to Scrum, as the basis for this certification. To keep growing, continue with the Scrum Master Professional Certification (SMPC®).
